One Minute Festival

─ On the Move

One Minute Festival: On the Move is an initiative aiming to address and highlight the challenges of displacement. Jointly organized by the Creative Industries Association of Moldova, COR, and the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, the festival provides a voice to foster intercultural dialogue, tolerance and understanding. Held in the Republic of Moldova, the initiative aligns with the Global Compact on Refugees vision, emphasizing the importance of community response and solidarity.

The festival's objective is to leverage the power of moviemaking to inspire change and create a more inclusive environment that recognizes the experiences of all individuals on the move. The participation of professional and amateur filmmakers of all ages and nationalities, in a short film contest generates a space for exchange and expression.

Thank you to all the filmmakers, storytellers and mentors who used their talents to shine a light on the realities of displacement as part of the first edition of the One Minute Festival. Your films captured moments and emotions that stay with us, helping us understand the experiences of those forced to flee their homes.
